Guest Teachers

One of my goals when we bought our home with its wonderful art studio was to have other artists come teach here as well. I have begun plans to do just that in 2020. One class is scheduled already, and that is with Mimi Damrauer, an award-winning fabric artist who will teach her “Drunk Circles” class on Feb. 11 from 1-4. It looks like fun and I’ll be there, so sign up with Mimi if interested!!!

Other artists will be teaching here as well.  We’re still in the planning stages, so stay tuned!!!!

Darlene Saucedo will be back to teach her gourd lamp class. Date to be determined.

Lynda Abare ( will teach a metal embossing class or two throughout the year. Dates to be determined.

Pat Stacy ( will teach her unique acrylic paint methods. Date to be determined.

I’ll have all this planned and in the next newsletter, so stay tuned. Lots of fun things to learn!!!!!

WigmanArt Festival

On February 14 - 16, 2020 Joanie, along with her good friend and metal artist Marjie Risk, will share a booth at the Wigwam Art Festival in Litchfield Park, AZ. This fine arts event is new for Joanie and she is looking forward to it.
