Textile Collage Workshop:

Fast & Easy Fabric Art!

Join award winning Phoenix based textile collage artist Mimi Damrauer for a simple and fun on trend hand-stitching fabric art class.

This 3 hour class is based on Mimi’s famous DRUNK CIRCLE design that has been an award winning design and a popular item at her fine art shows throughout the US.  Crate and Barrel even licensed a similar design for their best-selling Sebastian Rug.

Make your own DRUNK CIRCLES original textile artwork to hang in your home or give as a gift.

No previous sewing is necessary.  We will hand-stitch fabrics to create a one-of-a-kind textile collage for you to take home.  You will learn basic ideas for designing and hand-stitching.  No stress – just fun.

Mimi Damrauer is a self-taught Phoenix based fiber artist.  Mimi paints on paper, and stitches textiles purchased on her world travels to create her one-of-a-kind artworks.  A collaboration between Mimi and retailer Crate and Barrel resulted in the best-selling “Sebastian” rug at Crate and Barrel retail stores nationwide and internationally via the Crate and Barrel website.

I am inspired always by looking around me…the sidewalk cracks, the way old bricks lay out, the crooked-leaning telephone poles in rural India, the color of the ocean in Costa Rica, or the stones on a beach in Italy.
